"Off campus series is a vicious cycle", that's all that people said to me before I read this and I am here to tell you that, I don't know about the others but book 1 was AMAZING.
Quick resumé. Our main character, Hannah, is a bit of a nerd. When she gets a perfect score on an essay where no one else did as good as her, Garret practically begs her to help him out, so he can get a better grade and doesn't risk his spot on the hockey team. The whole plot is abut the deal they make, in exchange for tutoring, Garret will go out with Hanna so she can make another guy jealous. But of course we all know who the real love interest actually is...
Filled with slow-burning romance, I absolutely adore the man in this book as well as the bad-ass / nerdy personality of Hannah. The story's conflict gets you very frustrated that it will all go wrong and that the hours of amazingly built friendship/relationship will go down hill, but who doesn't love a little adrenaline am I right?
This book ABSOLUTELY made me want something like Garret and Hannah have. Plus, I am so exited for the other books about the other guys on the team because their dynamic is so perfect. They are basically like brothers from different mothers. All with their own traumas and always supporting their bros on everything. Yes, they are all players, but who doesn't love one? Not me at least.
But seriously, once you pick up the pace of this book you won't want to put it back down.
